GO Mint

Mobile account with instant gig-platform payouts, an automatic tax pot taken from every payout, and a savings jar that rounds up fares, tolls and coffees.

About

Two mates, an ex-bus-network planner and a food-delivery rider, built GO Mint in a West End garage in 2022 after a weekly payout arrived four days late and the rent did not. The app is made for people who earn in lumps from several platforms: rideshare drivers, couriers, casual shift workers who cross the river twice a day. Payouts land in seconds, and a tax pot quietly takes a slice of each one so that June is boring. Every tap-on fare, coffee and toll rounds up into a savings jar called the mint. It talks in short lines, skips the exclamation marks, and says go where other apps say continue. The mark is a mint leaf drawn as a route: the midrib is the line, the ring at the bottom is the first stop, and the tip is where you are headed.
